Addressing Complex Social Challenges in Israel Through Multi-Sector Collaboration

Ronny is a social entrepreneur and a businessman, founder and Chairman of “Sheatufim” and of “Zionism 2000″. Ronny also served as co-chairman on the advisory committee of UJC Israel, a member of the board of Rashi Foundation and as chairman of the Israel Anti-Drug Authority. In May 2025, Roni received the Israel Prize for Lifetime Achievement – a special contribution to society and the country.

justice (ret.) of the Supreme Court of Israel. Anat Baron was appointed as a judge to the Tel Aviv-Jaffa Magistrates’ Court in early 1991. Since then and for nearly 33 years, she served as a judge in all instances of the judicial system; in the last decade as a Supreme Court Justice until her retirement at the end of 2023.

A lawyer by training, in recent years she participates voluntarily in the management of non-profits (“Education for Excellence”, “The Association for Children at Risk”, “Zionot 2000”) and voluntarily advises companies in the field of community contribution. Has a bachelor’s degree in law from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and a master’s degree in philosophy from Tel Aviv University.

Rebecca is the senior vice president, Israel and Overseas of The Jewish Federations of North America, as well as the director general of JFNA’s Israel office. In this capacity, Rebecca leads a team that serves as the eyes and ears – and often voice – of North American Jewry and the Federation movement in Israel. Prior to joining JFNA, Rebecca worked for over 16 years at the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee.

Efi Cohen is the Head of Salesforce Israel R&D Centre and SVP, Product and Engineering at Datorama, a Salesforce company, and most recently, was Co-Founder and CTO of Datorama which was acquired by Salesforce in 2018. Efi has been building and managing industry-leading products and teams for the past 20 years. Prior to founding Datorama in 2012, Efi was part of the founding team (employee number one) of Eyeblaster (MediaMind / Sizmek) where he led and built the architecture and technology as VP Technology. MediaMind went public (NASDAQ) in 2010 and got acquired by DG Inc in 2011.

Jonathan is an entrepreneur with a broad range of business activities and over a decade of entrepreneurial experience. Jonathan began his career in private banking and real estate and has also been involved in establishing comprehensive technological solutions in India and South Africa.
Today Jonathan serves as a Co-Managing Founder and Partner at Bluestone Investments, a private real estate and private equity investment group, and is also Co-Founder and board director of Script Assist, a prescribing technology platform (SaaS).

Harriet is a partner at Israel’s largest law firm, Herzog, specializing in international commercial transactions and is general counsel to Mohari Hospitality and the Scheinberg Family Office. She sits on the steering committee of the Scheinberg Relief Fund. Harriet emigrated to Israel from the UK in 2000 after receiving her law degree from Cambridge University.

Sarit Firon is one of Israel’s most accomplished startup executives and investors, with more than 25 years’ experience across Silicon Valley, New York and Tel Aviv’s high-tech hubs.
Sarit has invested and shepherded some of Israel’s most successful acquisitions and exits, including Datorama, Mediamind, Armis, Alooma, Demisto, and Dynamic Yield. Most recently she was Managing Partner of Cerca Partners Venture Fund.

In 2003, Joseph Gitler founded Leket Israel –The National Food Bank. Joseph is a founding member of Ten Gav and Israel Gives, as well as an active board member of re-specs, The Meir Medical Center, Camp Moshava Canada, Dualis, Mercaz Panim and Artists & Musicians for Israel. Joseph is also the Israeli representative for the Global FoodBanking Network. Joseph received the coveted Presidential Award for Volunteerism from former President Shimon Peres. He is a recipient of the Inaugural 2014 Bonei Zion Prize and named one of the 50 most influential Jews in the world.

Bobby is a Past Board Chair of the Jewish Community Federation of Cleveland, and past National Chairman of the Jewish Federations of North America. Goldberg is also a past Chairman of Tel Aviv University, a founder of The Agnon School (a Cleveland Jewish day school), a past Chairman of the Jewish Agency task force for the Negev and Galilee, and a trustee of the Negev Foundation. Bobby is an AIPAC supporter and a trustee of Nefesh B’Nefesh (which brings new immigrants from North America).

Sara is an architect, social activist, and creative strategist. Among her non-profit volunteer work, she co-founded the national award winning Jewish Arts and Culture Lab in Cleveland, Ohio. She now lives in Tel Aviv. Sara holds a Master in Architecture degree from Harvard University and Bachelor of Fine Arts in Environmental Design from Parsons School of Design.

Eyal served for over 30 years in the Israeli defense and intelligence forces, holding a variety of operational and senior command positions. He retired from government service at a rank parallel to Major-General, and is currently an entrepreneur in the renewable energy sector. He serves as a director on the boards of several NGO’s, and as senior consultant to the World Jewish Congress. Eyal holds a degree in Economics and International Relations from Tel Aviv University.

Ran has over 18 years of engineering, product, leadership, and global management experience. Co-founder & CEO of Datorama, a data integration and Marketing Intelligence technology company. Ran grew the company to a leading global player in the field, with 17 global offices across the globe, and it was acquired by Salesforce in 2018. Previously VP R&D at MediaMind, a NASDAQ traded online advertising technology company, where he led all product and engineering activities.

Anat is a social entrepreneur and philanthropist.
Children and youth at risk are her specialties. Chairman of the “Orr Shalom” organization, founder of the “The House for Social Solidarity” and of the Aharon Shandor NGO, which assists young people who have finished boarding schools and do not have family support. Anat is involved in dozens of social organizations in Israel. Holds a master’s degree in educational counseling specializing in special education. Anat is married to Amnon Shashua, an Israeli professor, researcher and a leading hi-tech entrepreneur. Together, they founded the Shashua Family Foundation – which she leads.

Itzik served as CEO of the Rashi Foundation from 2012 until 2016. Prior to Rashi, Itzik led a long and acclaimed career in the Israel Defense Forces, in various engineering and managerial positions at the R&D Unit of the Intelligence Corps, and later as founder and director of the Atidim Program that promotes high-potential students from the periphery to academic studies. Itzik also established and managed the social security department in the Ministry of Defense. Itzik received the Israel Security Award in 1988 and the IDF Intelligence Prize for Creative Thinking in 1999; in 2003 he was awarded an honorary fellowship from the Technion.

hlomo Dushi serves as Vice President of Sheatufim. From the organization’s founding in 2007 until early 2024, he served as its CEO, leading its growth and professionalization into one of the leading organizations in Israel.
Prior to joining Sheatufim, Mr. Dushi served for six years as CEO of Zionism 2000, a nonprofit organization promoting corporate social responsibility within Israel’s business sector. Earlier in his career, Dushi served as Secretary General of the Israeli Scouts Movement, the largest youth movement in Israel, and led a significant expansion of its activities nationwide. He also served as a senior emissary of the Jewish Agency and the Israeli Scouts in North America, focusing on the Israeli community, and directed the Tzabar Scouts movement across North America and Canada.

Ronen has extensive experience in managing and leading organizations and complex projects for implementing broad inter-organizational, cross-sectoral, and multi-partner changes. Ronen retired from the IDF with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel after 26 years of service in senior key positions, with his last role serving as Head of Planning and Budget Department in the IDF Human Resources Division. After his retirement, Ronen served, among other positions, as CEO of the National Initiatives Fund, managed the “Magen Hayim” project to reduce hospital-acquired infections in Israel, and the “Veshamarta” project to protect residents of geriatric institutions during the COVID-19 period. He served as Deputy CEO of Sheatufim and assisted in establishing the innovation program at the Galilee Medical Center. Between 2021-2022, he served as Chief of Staff for the Minister of Economy and Industry. Upon completing this role, he led the Health Tech Valley program at Sheba Medical Center and founded a technology company in the financial sector.

n her previous role at Sheatufim, Michal established and managed the Sheatufim Studio – the organization’s consulting and learning unit. Michal has extensive experience leading, guiding, and managing innovation, consulting, strategy, problem-solving processes, and implementing organizational processes across a wide range of companies and organizations both locally and internationally. In her previous roles, Michal managed and developed learning, training, and professional development processes in social and international business organizations. Michal holds a Master’s degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from the Technion and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Psychology from Tel Aviv University

Lili is a lawyer with extensive experience in the philanthropic world, including 10 years at the Rashi Foundation as Director of the Legal Department and Project Manager at the Mark Rich Foundation. Previously the coordinator of the Israel Committee for the War Against Poverty.
As part of her role in Sheatufim, she is entrusted with creating strategic connections between the organization and its activities and leading bodies from philanthropy and the business sector. Lily is the mother of Itamar, Shai and Na’ama, and married to Zohar.

Shira brings many years of experience in social and public leadership. From 2022 to 2025, she served as CEO of the Hura Local Council, where she led the municipality’s transition in status, making Hura the second Bedouin city in the Negev. During her tenure, she also spearheaded strategic initiatives to improve municipal services for the residents of Hura and the surrounding area.

Shira has a strong track record in advancing cross-sector initiatives in the fields of community resilience, education, and employment. Previously, she held senior management positions at Rothschild Partnerships, an organization dedicated to strengthening social and economic resilience in Israel’s periphery and promoting collaboration among diverse communities and groups within Israeli society.

Yael brings extensive managerial and social experience from a wide range of settings. In recent years, she directed the Early Childhood Department at the Municipality of Yokneam Illit, where she led the development of a unique integrative model spanning education, health, welfare, and community. Previously, she managed nonprofits and organizations in the fields of community engagement and education, and trained educational teams and young leaders. Over the past year, she has served in the IDF reserves, contributing to the establishment of a new division in the areas of education and social cohesion. Yael holds a Master’s degree in Organizational Sociology and a Bachelor’s degree (with honors) in Education and Sociology-Anthropology, both from the University of Haifa. She lives in Yokneam Illit with her husband, Beni, and their four children: Shira, Evyatar, Amit, and Yishai.

Michal is an organizational gerontologist with experience in management roles in both the business and social sectors. In her most recent role, she served as the first of its kind Social Bonds Manager for alleviating loneliness among elderly citizens in the Tel Aviv municipality. Previously, she served as the Deputy Director of Human Resources at BDO Israel and is a member of the board of the Israeli Gerontological Society. She also manages the “Jobs for Gerontologists” community, which creates employment opportunities for professionals in the field of aging. Michal holds a master’s degree in Social Work from Tel Aviv University and a second master’s degree in Gerontology from the Haifa University.

Yasmin is a certified social-organizational psychologist, and has extensive experience in social change, strategic planning and promoting partnerships. Yasmin serves at Sheatufim as the Director of Collective Impact in the field of Domestic Violence. In previous positions Yasmin served as professional manager in Shatil (New Israel fund) – an infrastructure organization for civil society – and as human resource manager in the School for Leadership Development in the IDF .Yasmin led numerous projects, developing knowledge, tools and methodologies for creating social impact, and has broad experience in consulting, training and capacity building for managers, teams and partnerships in the public and social sectors. She holds a first degree in Psychology from the hebrew university, a second degree in social-industrial psychology from Bar Ilan university, and is the graduate of a group facilitation program.

Pazit worked for a decade in the business sector, forging collaborations between Israeli and Chinese companies – both as part of her work at the Israeli Consulate in Shanghai and as Business Development Manager at a subsidiary of BDO Ziv Haft. At the end of this period, she began her career in the social world as a director of resource development at an association for the promotion of technological education. In recent years, Pazit served as program manager at JDC Elka, where she managed the ‘Digital Leaders for Local Government’ program and managed multi-sectoral partnerships, including managing a regional partnership for the development of socio-economic initiatives in the Beit Hakerem cluster, and as a program manager in the Mowarad project for resource extraction in Arab local authorities. Pazit holds a bachelor’s degree with distinctions in International Relations and East Asian studies from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and an MBA with distinctions from the College of Management Academic Studies.

In recent years, she served as the Northern District Commissioner at Israel’s Ministry of Interior, where she was responsible for 94 local authorities, regional clusters, and municipal associations. Her role included budgetary oversight, leading recovery programs, advancing national development plans, and managing complex intergovernmental collaborations.

Alongside this position, she served as Acting Chief of Staff of the implementation headquarters for the government’s “Momentum for the North” initiative (Northern Project Manager), leading the national program for the rehabilitation and development of Northern Israel following the Swords of Iron war.

Earlier in her career, Einav served for many years as City Comptroller and Public Complaints Commissioner for the Municipality of Afula, and later as Chair of the Association of Local Government Auditors in Israel. She brings extensive experience working with government ministries, the Knesset, and local authorities.

Einav holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Haifa, is a Certified Public Accountant, holds an LL.M. from Bar-Ilan University, and is a graduate of the Maoz leadership program.
