Shlomo Dushi serves as Vice President of Sheatufim – a leading Israeli organization dedicated to strengthening and advancing civil society in Israel through multi-sector collaboration. From the organization’s founding in 2007 until early 2024, he served as its CEO, leading its growth and professionalization into one of the leading organizations in Israel.
Prior to joining Sheatufim, Mr. Dushi served for six years as CEO of Zionism 2000, a nonprofit organization promoting corporate social responsibility within Israel’s business sector. In this role, he oversaw hundreds of business-led social initiatives across the country and led major social ventures, with a particular focus on underserved communities in Israel’s geographic and social periphery.
Earlier in his career, Dushi served as Secretary General of the Israeli Scouts Movement, the largest youth movement in Israel, and led a significant expansion of its activities nationwide.
He also served as a senior emissary of the Jewish Agency and the Israeli Scouts in North America, focusing on the Israeli community, and directed the Tzabar Scouts movement across North America and Canada.
Dushi brings extensive experience in initiating and managing complex social ventures, particularly characterized by collaboration among government, business, and civil society sectors. He has played a central role in dozens of prominent collaborative processes and national initiatives, both within Sheatufim and across Israel.
Dushi holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, both from Tel Aviv University. Dushi currently serves as Co-Chair of Civic Leadership, the umbrella organization representing nonprofit organizations in Israel.
